Our Background

Originally from Edina, Minnesota, Scott moved to Fargo, North Dakota in his teens. Colorado has always been a special place for Scott. Since his first ski trip at age 10, he knew the mountains were where he wanted to be. As a young adult, Scott enjoyed ski racing and later worked part-time as a ski instructor.
 
Anne grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and is a first-generation U.S. citizen. Her parents immigrated from Norway shortly before she was born, bringing with them a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Hiking and skiing inspired her parents to own a mountain home in Breckenridge.
 
Scott and Anne met in Bemidji, Minnesota, through mutual friends and were married three years later. Together, they have two children, Christian and Cecilie. Christian is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison and works full time in Breckenridge. Cecilie attends the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she is an active Tri-Delta sorority member and avid Gators fan. The family also includes two golden retrievers, Rumor and Haze, who help keep everyone active outdoors.
 
Scott graduated from Concordia College, where he studied Healthcare Administration. During his healthcare recruiting career, he recruited physicians, executives, and other healthcare providers while also developing governance skills through service on national and local boards.
 
Anne graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. She built a successful 25+ year career as a top-performing sales professional in the healthcare and consumer goods industries. Her expertise in business development, account management, and territory growth played a key role in her success, while her engaging and professional style helped her build strong client relationships.
 
In addition to her full-time career, Anne served as the Honorary Consul of Norway for the State of Wisconsin, becoming the first woman to hold the position in the state. She was instrumental in strengthening relationships with Norwegian ambassadors and leaders throughout Wisconsin. In recognition of her contributions, Anne was appointed Knight First Class of The Royal Norwegian Order of Merit by His Majesty King Harald V of Norway.
