As you will see in The Summit and Park County Real Estate Market Report for the month of September, the median sales price for single-family homes as well as condominiums continues to exceed the last 12 months; however, the number of sold listings for all properties has seen a decrease.
The Summit County real estate market for September 2021 vs September 2020 shows the following trends.

Overall August Sales Trends
Park County has also seen an increase of nearly +17.5% of homes sold with an average increase of 27.9% in price of homes sold over the previous 12 months. Land sales in Park County remain strong with an increase in land transactions of +48.5% over the past 12 months. Average selling price of land increased by +16% which indicates that Park County is increasing in demand but it still offers a good value for land buyers.
The good news is that new properties are continuing to come on the market and prepared buyers are able to succeed with their offers as many of these properties go under contract soon after being listed. With that in mind, if you are at all considering making a move to the mountains, now is a great time to explore your options. Similarly, if you are considering selling your mountain property, you can be certain that your home will be valued at a high level.
